Most wills pre 1858 were destroyed in the 1922 fire in Dublin and so you are unlikely to find John’s will. Statutory Birth & death registration were only introduced in 1864 and so you won’t find a birth or death cert for him either. You might find his baptism if the records have survived. You don’t say what denomination he was, or where he was born. However the Church of Ireland records for Greyabbey parish start in 1807, Non Subscribing Presbyterian in 1835 and Presbyterian in 1873. So none go back far enough to find his baptism. If he was Church of Ireland you might find his burial, but Presbyterians don’t keep burial records, as a general rule. He presumably married around 1790, so again the surviving records don’t cover that period. This website has a mention of Andrew Glover of Greyabbey and James Blackwood Glover, also of Greyabbey. Presumably your family: http://freepages.genealogy.rootsweb.ancestry.com/~rosdavies/SURNAMES/G/Gl.htm
