I understand G.A. Holmes built a presbyterian colony in Coolavin in the time of the Famine. He opened a Soup Kitchen and distributed food and clothing to children in the school. He purchased food for distribution from Sligo Port and had a grain depot at Mullaghroe on lands of Andrew Baker. I am trying to establish if he used the school in Mullaghroe or a premises on Bakers land at Redhill. I have found the name of the person who operated the grain depot/
