I discovered recently that my great great grandfather drowned in the River Liffey whilst working for the City of Dublin Steam Package Company in 1873. On the death certificate it states under cause of death 'accidental drowning inquest'. Under Signature, Qualification and Residence of Informant.. it states ' information received from the coroner of the City of Dublin Nick (looks like Whyte). Anyone any idea where I might find historic coroner reports / inquest records?
Thanks - Sandra
